What You’ll Learn at Our Ski School

Everyone progresses differently. Your instructor will adapt your lessons to your ability and confidence rather than rushing you through a fixed program.

For complete beginners, the journey typically looks something like this:

01

Find Your Balance

Start by getting comfortable with your equipment, stance, balance, and movement on snow. You’ll learn how to move around confidently and develop the basic coordination you need before heading downhill.

02

Control Your Speed & Stop

Next comes control. Skiers begin learning techniques such as the snowplow, while snowboarders work on heel- and toe-edge control. The goal is to control your speed and stop when you need to.

03

Start Linking Turns

Once you’re comfortable controlling your speed, you’ll begin practicing turns and linking them together. This is where skiing or snowboarding starts to feel more natural—and much more fun.

04

Explore More of the Mountain

As your technique and confidence improve, your instructor can gradually introduce terrain appropriate for your ability, helping you continue progressing beyond the beginner slopes.
