We provide taxi/shuttle services from Srinagar Airport to Gulmarg. It will cost you Rs 3500 one-way for an SUV. During winters, the snow can make the roads quite tricky and it is not advisable to drive the car yourself if it’s your first time.

Our taxi/ shuttles come with experienced drivers and safety equipments such as tire chains needed everyday during winters. If you book a taxi with us, we will reach the airport before your arrival and wait at the exit. You will be provided with the driver’s car and phone number. From Srinagar Airport to Gulmarg

The nearest airport to Gulmarg is Srinagar which is 56 kilometers away. The airport is well connected with major cities and flies regularly from cities such as Jammu, Delhi, Mumbai, and Amritsar.

Once outside, you can hire a prepaid cab which will cost you around 2500 one-way from Srinagar to Gulmarg. It is a 2-hour drive with the most magnificent view once you get close to Tanmarg.

Shared taxis are also available that are the cheapest way to go. However, if you are constraint on time, shared taxis are not a viable option as they stop everytime someone needs to get in and out of the taxi. Shared taxis are also often crowded and travelling with a luggage bag and a carry-on can be quite difficult.

Therefore, we recommend booking a taxi in advance to ensure smoother arrival. You can then stop in Srinagar to pick up essentials that might not be available in small towns.

Getting Around in Gulmarg

The best way to get around Gulmarg is on foot. You can leave your car under cover outside Global Ski Shop and explore the resort on foot and access the ski slopes in complete peace of mind! You can find taxis in the main market to move around in Gulmarg, however, it is not completely necessary if you are not constricted on time. Getting around on a horseback is also quite interesting.

You will also find shared taxis within the resort itself. The charges however can be relatively quite expensive.
