Payment Policy

Reservation Confirmation and Deposits: To secure your reservation for an activity at Gulmarg Ski Resort, a deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is a percentage of your total stay cost and serves as a guarantee for your accommodation and access to resort amenities. Please note that reservations are only confirmed once the deposit has been successfully processed.

 

Reservation and Booking: Ski resorts often require advance reservations and bookings for ski passes, equipment rentals, lessons, and other services. A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

 

Accepted Payment Methods: We accept a range of payment methods to suit your convenience. These include major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard), debit cards, cash, online transfers (GPay, PhonePe) as well as electronic funds transfers. All payments are processed securely to safeguard your financial information.

 

Payment Schedule: The remaining balance of your reservation is due upon check-in or as otherwise specified during the booking process. Failure to settle the balance by the specified date may result in the cancellation of your reservation.

These charges will be conveniently added to your room account. Payment for these charges is typically settled at the end of your stay during the check-out process.

Cancellation Policy for Gulmarg Ski Resort

We’re excited to welcome you to Gulmarg Ski Resort for an unforgettable skiing and snowboarding experience. Our goal is to ensure you have a fantastic time on the slopes while providing flexibility and understanding in case your plans change. Please take a moment to review our cancellation policy to help you better prepare for your upcoming visit.

 

A reminder that all bookings will require payment of 60% of the total reservation cost.

 

Cancellation Timeframes:

 

  • Full Refund: Cancellations made 3 weeks/ 21 days before your scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund.
  • Partial Refund/Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made 10 days before the scheduled arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 60% of the total paid amount.
  • No Refund: Cancellations made after 10 days before the date of arrival or on the day of arrival are not eligible for a refund.

 

Changing Dates/Modifications: We understand that plans can change. If you need to adjust your reservation dates, you may do so without a penalty if you make the change 3 weeks/ 21 days before your scheduled arrival.

 

Weather-Related Policies: Safety is our top priority. In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather or unsafe skiing conditions, we may offer flexibility with your reservation or provide alternative arrangements. Please contact our team for assistance.

 

Booking Channels: Please note that all bookings and cancellation policies are only done through our official channel via call and email. We do not allow booking through any third-party websites or travel agents.

 

Refund Processing Time: Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 7-10 business days. Please allow for processing time based on your payment method and financial institution.

 

Group Bookings: For group reservations, the cancellation policy may differ. Our group booking specialists will provide you with detailed information regarding cancellations and any associated fees.
