Gulmarg literally translated as “Meadow of Flowers” is a popular destination for mountaineers and hikers all around the world.
It is located at a distance of 49 km from Srinagar surrounded by tall pines, gigantic firs, and snow-clad mountains. Situated at an elevation of 2,650 meters (8,690 ft), below the Pir Panjal Range in the Western Himalayan range.
Gulmarg is the perfect base for trekking in the Himalayas. Lying within the boundaries of the Gulmarg Wildlife Sanctuary, Gulmarg offers breath-taking views of Nanga Parbat to the north and Khilanmarg to the west.
Note: All trekking routes are connected and can be extended or decreased as per our clients preferences.

The trekking activities range from a One-day trek to up to a week’s trek.
Two-day treks: 2 days/ 1 night
Gulmarg to Alpathar Lake
Alpathar Lake is situated at a distance of 13 km from Gulmarg at the height of 4390 meters.
There are two ways to get to the destination. One is by foot which takes about 4 hours to pass along the frozen lake. The other option is comparatively less arduous with a Gondola ride to Phase 2 and a 30 mins walk to the destination.
The trek usually commences early in the morning for an expected return the same day.
Gulmarg to Ningli Nallah/ Sranz
Ningli Nallah is located at a distance of 10 km from Gulmarg. It is a mountain stream surrounded by snow-clad mountains on all four sides and lush green pastures with meadows of blooming wildflowers around it.
The total trek time of about 4 hours is worth the magnificent view the destination provides.
4-days trek: 4 days/ 3 nights
Gulmarg – Tosa Maidan
Gulmarg – Tosa Maidan trek offers the most spectacular views and experiences for a hiker.
It is located at a distance of 65 km from Gulmarg and in all requires 5 days of trekking on foot.
With ceaseless meadows of flowers and numerous glacial lakes, the Tosa Maidan trek is one of a kind experience offering expeditions to the unexplored regions of Kashmir.
The trek includes various stoppages in between that include transits through 7 lakes and sunshine peak.
